"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
"Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have." Acts 10:47 (NIV)
"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." Romans 6:4 (NIV)
The ordinance of baptism by a burial with Christ should be observed as commanded in the Scriptures by all who have really repented and in their hearts have truly believed on Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life.
Adult Baptism is facilitated by the New Members' Ministry and Shepherds. See Baptism instructions & Shepherds list for details on dates, times, where to report, and what to bring. Unless otherwise noted, Baptism takes place on the second Sunday of every month. Changes to baptism times will be announced during church service, listed in the bulletin, or communicated by your Shepherd.
