“Millennials and Gen Z: Faith, Leadership, and Identity”
Dive into the dynamic world of church traditions as we explore the vibrant ways Millennials and Gen Z connect with their faith! This course is all about developing inclusive leadership that not only empowers future generations but also helps assess the essential qualities today’s church leaders need.

Join us as we tackle the thrilling balancing act of faith, career, sex/relationships, and social media in our fast-paced “grind” culture. We’ll confront the challenges of shame while celebrating the beautiful diversity of identity in an ever-evolving landscape. Get ready for an inspiring journey that equips you to lead with purpose and passion!

Course Name & Description:
“Healing and Restoration for the Wounded Soul: A Six-Week Journey”
This six-week course is designed to guide participants through a transformative journey of healing from the wounds of abuse. The format and facilitation of the program, hosted by Elder Elaine Penn, offers a safe and supportive space for understanding the impact of abuse, reclaiming your identity, and fostering restoration. Through in-class discussions, reflective exercises, and group connection, this course provides a biblical and trauma-informed framework to empower you to take steps toward freedom, healing, and a renewed sense of self and hope.

Facilitator: Elder Penn holds a B.A. in Counseling and has more than 25 years of experience as a deliverance minister.

Eligibility:
Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Both males and females are welcome to register.

Course Name & Description:
“Bible Basics: Foundational Truths for Life”
This class will provide a doctrinal foundation rooted in biblical truth, necessary to understand and live the Christian life in the freedom provided by Christ Jesus.

We will uncover and delve into doctrinal errors that exist in Christian circles today, with the goal of enabling participants to “rightly divide the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). This class is for individuals who sincerely desire to stand on the sure, steadfast foundation of the Word of God (Matthew 7:24-25).

“The Forge: A 6-Week Journey of Faith and Transformation”
This 6-week DTI course, inspired by the movie “The Forge,” is designed to ignite a passion for knowing Christ personally, following Him sacrificially, and helping others become disciples.

The course will use clips from the movie to illustrate key concepts, encouraging participants to deepen their faith through personal study, group discussions, and practical application.

“So You Think You Are a Preacher!”
This class explores the various aspects of the preaching ministry. It is a closed course, intended only for those acknowledging a call to the preaching ministry or ministers transferring from another church seeking to join the clergy team at Pilgrim Rest. This class is for those who have a desire to become licensed or already licensed and new Pilgrim Rest.

“Bible Stewardship”
This course aims to provide a broader understanding of biblical stewardship. Participants will gain insights into stewardship from God’s perspective, enhancing their relationship with the Lord and enabling better utilization of His resources. By the end of this course, participants will be equipped to share stewardship principles with other believers, potentially enriching their lives.
