PRBC FRESHMAN YEARLY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION 2026
Instructions:
• Applicants must be members of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
• Applicants must have graduated from high school by May 2026 and have been accepted as a Freshman in a Four-year University, two-year College, or certificated program for the Fall 2026 semester.
• Applications received after the due date noted above will NOT be considered.
• Please respond to all questions and include a copy of your final high school transcript.
• Please submit a copy of your official letter of admission for the Fall 2026 semester.
• Two types of scholarships will be awarded:
1. FULL Tuition Scholarship Award – The amount of this scholarship is equivalent to tuition rates charged at public universities in the state of Arizona. Students may use this scholarship at any in-state or out-of-state accredited four-year university or college. This award will be distributed to the recipient(s) each semester for four (4) years, contingent upon the recipient(s) maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0.
2. One-Time Scholarship Award – Numerous students will receive one-time scholarships. These one-time scholarships will vary in amounts and may be used at any formal educational institution.
• Applications must be submitted by one of the following mediums. Please note the time deadline will vary depending on the medium chosen. If you email, please send to education@pilgrimrestphx.org by 11:00 pm. If you deliver in person to the church office at 1401 E. Jefferson Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85034, please bring it on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 AM and 4:30 PM. If you are mailing to the church office, send to 1401 E. Jefferson Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85034. If submitting by US mail or any other mail carrier, please mail your application early enough to reach our office by the deadline (4:30 pm, June 6th 2026). PLEASE DO NOT FAX APPLICATIONS TO THE CHURCH OFFICE.
• Another component of the application process is a personal interview. If you are selected for an interview, the scholarship committee will contact you to set up a date and time for your interview.
